Unify OpenScape X1
Until now there has not really been a solution for small or micro businesses (3 users plus) the OSB X3 is just a little oversized for a 3+ user business, will be released for sales in the South Africa for smaller businesses up to 30 users.
This is great news for small businesses starting up on a tight budget as the system offers VOIP telephony both SIP trunking and IP clients, voicemail and entry level unified communications.
The Unify Siemens system is also extremely flexible to suit customers to just move into any infrastructure as the system will have digital and analogue ports on-board this allows the use of either a traditional telephony cabling or full Cat 5/6 infrastructure, this means customers on a budget are not forced into investing in a full network infrastructure from day 1 and therefore allowing the customer to grow the business at their own rate. The Unify Siemens OpenScape X3 is a versatile rack / wall mounted system ideal for a multitude of situations small to medium sized businesses experience.
The Unify Siemens X3 is a flexible and scalable IP system, but also supports all necessary digital and analogue interfaces making it ideal for 5 to 40 users utilizing either analogue or ISDN2 lines. This makes it suitable for every customer’s requirements. The X3 supports any combination of IP, analogue, and digital telephones, as well as PC clients.

The Unify Siemens OpenScape X5 is a flexible mounted system offering solutions to suit many different applications, from basic systems to advanced and complex solutions. This is a real-time IP system that also supports all necessary digital and analogue interfaces. Interactive user prompting via display and dialogue keys on OpenStage handsets provides for quick and easy activation of features. Ideal for 12 to 80 users with ISDN2, ISDN30 or analogue lines. The universal software concept offers a professional range of features normally only found on larger systems.

The Unify Siemens Openscape X8 is the largest of the OpenScape Business family
Unify Siemens supports up to 128 channels of ISDN lines, 60 channels of SIP as well 500 IP handsets and up to 328 digital or analogue handsets.
Not only does this allow you to use a mix of trunks depending on your business needs, it allows you to grow the system right up to a fully featured OpenScape UC platform. Native IP connectivity allows users to share their applications and resources within a single location or throughout a multi-site network. The X8 delivers intelligence in communications.
The Unify OpenScape Business family offers all-in-one unified communication (UC) solutions tailored for small to medium enterprises. The X1 model serves as an entry-level system for startups and home offices, while the X3, X5, and X8 models provide increasing capacity for larger user bases and more complex networking requirements.
